The Committee acts voluntarily & impartially to organise events of interest and liaise with ELI members. ELI was founded in 2009 by solicitors Laura Steerman and Julie-Anne Hannon. 

Kadri Simson, European Commissioner for Energy will give a morning speech on the 'European Green Deal and the Fit for 55% package in the energy sector'. Various lawyers, academics and industry professionals from all over Europe will lead the subsequent discussions via presentations and round tables on topics pertinent to the Green Deal and energy.
